Hi I'm Michaela

 

I am a mother of four (and one angel baby), a registered nurse and a photographer for over 14 years.

​

I recently downsized into a small, custom-made natural light studio in Maiden Gully, and honestly, it feels exactly like where I'm meant to be. It's a beautiful light, airy space that reflects everything I love about this work.

​

I'm drawn to the simplicity of natural light photography. Soft pastels, earthy tones, and the quiet beauty of a sleeping newborn gently posed in their pre-earthside position. There's something so fleeting about those early days, and I feel a deep privilege every time I get to freeze that time for a family.

​

My passion for this work comes from knowing these are the prints you'll hold onto for a lifetime. Long lasting memories that sit on your walls, live in your albums, and get passed down through generations. That's what drives me, and that's what I pour into every single session.

Whether I'm capturing a beautiful bump, a brand new baby, or watching your little one grow, I'm here for all of it.
